Union National Bank (UNB) on Wednesday posted a 38 percent drop in third-quarter net profit as impairments weigh and gains on investment properties boosted last year's comparison figure.
UNB said third-quarter net profit fell to AED358.05m from AED581.65m in the same quarter one year ago. UNB's quarterly profit easily beats the forecasts of four analysts polled by Reuters, who had pencilled in AED256.13m in third-quarter profit. (Reuters)
