Two new swine flu deaths were reported by Kuwaiti health chiefs on Sunday, bringing the total number of victims in the Gulf state to 19.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the first patient was a woman in her 60s who was admitted into hospital on October 24 suffering from high fever, difficulty breathing, and bronchitis.

She had a prior brain injury and a problem with blood circulation, and due to her critical condition she was admitted to ICU and medication was administered. She passed away on Saturday, reported KUNA News Agency.
