Bahrain, Egypt and Syria are among the markets being considered for new projects by UAE construction giant Arabtec, its CEO Riad Kamal has said.
He also said that Abu Dhabi's property sector presented "promising" opportunities for the company with more projects being bid for. The CEO's comments were included in a statement posted on the website of the Dubai Financial Market on Monday.
It added that Arabtec’s two projects in Saudi Arabia were on target, while those in Dubai were being completed.
New opportunities were also being looked at in Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Libya and Syria with the company's board discussing plans to establish partnerships in Bahrain and Libya, after agreeing to set up subsidiaries in Lebanon and Egypt.
