Tickets go on sale for Rihanna NYE bash

Tickets for pop singer Rihanna’s New Year’s Eve concert in Abu Dhabi will go on sale on Tuesday.

Flash Entertainment said tickets for the Emirates Palace gig and La Rumba after party are priced from AED395 for a standing ticket to AED1,695 for the full VIP treatment.

Rihanna is the latest in a series of high profile acts to perform in the capital, including Justin Timberlake, Bon Jovi, George Michael, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Coldplay and Andrea Bocelli.

Rihanna has achieved amazing success in the four years since she was signed. She is about to release her fourth studio album ‘Rated R’ later this month.

Headlining the afterparty is DJ Green Lantern, who has toured with rappers Eminem and Jay Z. Organisers said they would confirm a full line up in the coming weeks.

Tickets are available online at www.boxofficeme.com, www.timeouttickets.com and www.ticketingboxoffice.com. They will also be available from all Virgin Megastore outlets to be announced at a later date.
