Hollywood stars to host Dubai film festival charity gala

Hollywood stars Christina Ricci, Matt Dillon and Mandy Moore are set to attend this year’s amFAR Cinema Against Aids gala, held on the sidelines of the Dubai International Film Festival.
Ricci, who shot to fame as Wednesday in the Addams Family, and Dillon, who has countless successful roles, will host the auction are the event, while actress and singer-songwriter Moore will give a performance.
The event, under the patronage of HRH Princess Haya Al Hussein is on December 10 at Dubai International Financial Centre. It aims to raise money and awareness about HIV/Aids around the world, reports Gulf News.
Now in its third year, the highlight of the black-tie gala is the auction, which has previously included Cartier jewellery and dinner with a top celebrity.
A single tickets start at $2,000 and a table of 10 costs $25,000.
