The Burj Khalifa observation deck – At the Top – has been temporarily closed for maintenance work.
"Due to unexpected high traffic, the observation deck experience at the Burj Khalifa, At the Top, has been temporarily closed for maintenance and upgrade,” a spokesperson for the world’s tallest building told Gulf News.
"Technical issues with the power supply are being worked on by the main and sub-contractors and the public will be informed upon completion."
It is not yet known when the observation deck, which is located on the 124th floor of the building, will reopen to the public.
“Guests who hold valid tickets to the experience will be offered the option to re-book or receive an immediate refund. All ticket holders who wish to re-book shall be given top priority. We maintain and remain committed to the highest quality standards at Burj Khalifa," the spokesman told the paper.

I was fortunate enough to be at the opening of this magnificent building and was the only 1 in my group of 11 to pay the 400AED to go to the observation deck. I thought it was worth it and hope to see it again in the near future!!
