Dubai’s met office has issued a severe weather warning from 6pm on Monday night.
"From this evening onwards the weather will become unsettled with thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain, strong gusty winds and the possibility of hail,” the met office said in its warning.
“Winds may gust to 40 knots (75km/h) with poor visibility and flooding, making driving conditions difficult. This unsettled weather will persist throughout Tuesday."
A public weather warning has been issued in the northern Emirates, due to strong winds. Four people were killed during thunderstorms and heavy rain across the UAE this weekend.
Three people died in Sharjah after being electrocuted while standing in water. Meanwhile, one person was killed in Dubai, and 13 others injured when an entrance collapsed at Global Village.
