Expansion plans under way

Abbasi Group plans to open three Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf outlets in India this year. The UAE-based company is set to launch its first venture in Mumbai, followed by expansion into Pune and Bangalore, in partnership with SK Jatia Group. The joint venture will also see the chain introduced to Bahrain, Qatar and Oman. Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf currently operate 10 outlets in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait under sub-franchise agreements, as well as the UAE.
