by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Saturday, 13 January 2007
A proposed US $97.6 billion (EUR75 billion) investment in the country’s infrastructure could help buoy up Northern Ireland’s construction industry over the next seven years.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) told the Belfast Telegraph that the cash injection by the Dublin Government would provide significant opportunities. RICS’ Northern Ireland construction spokesman, John Davidson, said that strength in the local residential and commercial sectors has also led to a robust performance by the Northern Ireland construction industry.
