Samsung Electronics has unveiled the E250, a VGA camera slider phone that the vendor claims has full-featured functionality and a sleekly stylish design. The E250 has a 2-inch LCD screen that boasts a 65,536 colour TFT display and image resolution of 128 x160 pixels. Samsung said this gave remarkably vivid, crisp pictures. With the phone users can view pictures, play games, and watch video clips.

The phone's embedded camera lens as a 4x digital zoom that allows for flexible framing options. The vendor said the E250 had all the features of a mini-camcorder, able to record up to an hour of video with sound. The E250 also incorporates a built-in MP3 player that users can add memory to via MicroSD. Samsung said to further accommodate all audio needs, the vendor has integrated a radio FM tuner.

The E250's connectivity platform includes Bluetooth 2.0, USB, and Edge. Samsung said Edge software means speedier data transmissions for faster downloads and file transfers.
