Intermec

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Thursday, 01 February 2007

Intermec has introduced its new SR61 handheld wireless scanner, available with a choice of all Intermec scanning options: standard range imager and MEMS laser or linear scanning. The SR61 is designed to allow companies to select the scanning technology that compliments their application needs best, ranging from low light environments to highly dense or difficult to read barcodes. With a class 1 Bluetooth radio that has up to 100 feet of range, the scanner is also designed to collect data in physically demanding industrial environments. It is also the first scanner from Intermec to offer a MEMS laser scan engine, which operates quicker than traditional lasers and requires no internal motor.
