SonoSite demonstrates new ultrasound skills

SonoSite successfully conducted a workshop entitled ‘Ultrasound Guided Regional Anaesthesia’ at Welcare Hospital last month. The course was designed to give anaesthetists of all grades a basic understanding of regional anaesthesia ultrasound in the clinical setting. It provided attendees with advice on to how to use the skill and how to introduce ultrasound guidance safely within a departmental practice.

“The workshops went off well and were enthusiastically received by the audience,” said Sandra Thomas, clinical marketing manager, Middle East, Africa and India, SonoSite Inc. “This technique is a huge advance in patient care.”
