Link Research will show its LinkHD wireless camera system at CABSAT this year.

LinkHD is a lightweight wireless camera transmitter that clips onto the back of a HD broadcast camera. With the low power consumption, imperceptible signal delay and light weight that are essential for live news and sports coverage, LinkHD supports all popular HD formats and has been chosen to cover some of the greatest moments in sport during 2006.

LinkHD has been used at the Torino Winter Olympics, the Berlin World Cup Final, Wimbledon, the Ryder Cup, and more recently, the 2006 Asian Games in Doha. Link claims that this system is the world's first true wireless camera system for HD. Link will exhibit at CABSAT alongside two other Vislink Group companies, Advent Communications and Microwave Radio Communications. Together, the group delivers a complete ENG transmission solution to bring live video back from the scene of a breaking news story.
