NME Awards judges announced
by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Thursday, 01 February 2007
The judging panel for the third annual NME Innovation Awards has now been finalised, ahead of the ceremony in April.
The judges will be: Derek Holland, head of Emirates Media's IT centre; Mohammed Shah, senior technical adviser to the Knowledge Economic City project in Saudi Arabia; Todd McGregor, managing director of Forrester Middle East; and Kandasamy Ganesan, district chair of BICSI Middle East and Africa. NME editor Eliot Beer will also judge.
Between them the judges bring a wealth of experience to the awards process, and will ensure entries are judged from a range of viewpoints.
Holland is a two-time winner of NME Awards in the past and has transformed Emirates Media's IT infrastructure, while Shah has been tasked with creating the IT framework for one of Saudi Arabia's key Economic City projects. McGregor has commentated on many aspects of the regional IT industry, while Ganesan has worked to build up BICSI in the Middle East to a formidable standards body.
Attendees to BICSI can attend the gala dinner free of charge.
