by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Thursday, 01 February 2007

South Korean electronics giant LG Electronics has appointed Axiom Telecom, one of the region's largest mobile phone retailers, as a key distribution partner for its mobile phones in the Middle East and other strategic markets.

Under the terms of the agreement, Axiom will distribute LG Electronics' range of mobile handsets and accessories in the Middle East and provide after-sales services. The agreement was signed between Jae Hoon Bae, LG's executive vice president of Mobile Communications Overseas Marketing, and Faisal Al Bannai, CEO of Axiom, at LG's headquarters in Seoul.

"While LG is a leader in communications technology and design, Axiom has strong regional experience and extensive market penetration. I believe that through our combined efforts, we can offer the best products and services to all our customers," Bae said.
