New H&M stores to launch in Dubai
by Safura Rahimi on Thursday, 22 February 2007
High street clothing giant H&M is set to open its fourth and fifth stores in Dubai on March 14th.
The Swedish-based retailer's two new stores will both be located in Deira City Centre, Dubai's established retail hub, and will occupy 800 and 1,100 square meters of retail space.
"This region and especially Dubai is a very fashion conscious market looking for a quality retail experience. H&M's ideology... has proved to be immensely popular and successful in the Middle East - as evidenced by our thriving stores in Dubai and Kuwait, that were launched in September 2006," said Mohamed Alshaya, CEO of M.H. Alshaya, local agent to the retail giant.
In addition to its branches in Dubai and Kuwait, the retailer is also launching a store in Qatar this March. The 2,200 square meter outlet will be located in Villagio Mall in Doha.
