Arabian Contracting Company (ACC) has won a US $626 million (AED 2.3 billion) contract to construct the 83-storey Sky Tower and its sister tower, Tower 2, as part of Sorouh Real Estate's Gate District Project on its Shams Abu Dhabi development on Reem Island.
"ACC's portfolio of prestigious projects and its exceptional reputation in the market has led to its selection from a shortlist of eight companies that had originally participated in the tender," said Mounir Haidar, CEO of Sorouh.
"We truly believe they will excel in meeting our expectations of quality, efficiency and on time delivery by adding value through the spirit of partnership approach between Sorouh and ACC."
Al Habtoor-STFA Soil Group carried out the piling work for the project.
