H&S certificate for IDAMA
by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Saturday, 30 September 2006
Facility management company IDAMA has been awarded the OHSAS 18001 certification for compliance with occupational health and safety.
The Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) certificate means both employers and workers are trained and well informed on their responsibilities towards a healthy and safe working environment.
“An OHSAS 18001 certification proves that your management system has been measured against best practice standards and found compliant with internationally recognised systems of occupational health and safety,” said Hashim Al Dabal, CEO of Dubai Properties.
It also recognises IDAMA’s commitment to implementing preventative health and safety measures in the workplace.
This is an increasing area of concern for companies.
