Abu Dhabi is building a new female-only beach to replace the one consumed by Emirates Palace hotel.

Located in Al Bateen, the new beach will be about 250m long and stretch 30m into the ocean.

It will be protected by female security guards and life guards and is expected to open this summer.

The beach will replace the emirate’s first ladies beach, located on Ras Al Akhdar, which, along with the adjoining open beach, was closed when construction began on the new Emirates Palace Hotel and the largest government facilities in the UAE.
