Al Meera to open five new shopping centres in Qatar

The Doha-based firm will launch branches in areas such as Bu Sidra, Al Wakra and Um Salal Ali

Doha-based Al Meera Consumer Goods Company is set to launch five new shopping centres soon, the firm announced yesterday.

The openings will start with a 4,239 square metre branch in Bu Sidra, reported The Peninsula Qatar.

It will be followed with a 4,000 square metre branch in North Sailiya, a 2,667 square metre branch in Al Wakra as well as 4,014 and 5,093 square metre branches in Um Salal Ali and Leaibab 2 respectively.

“At Al Meera, we are truly excited to be introducing our seamless shopping experience and make a difference in the daily lives of consumers in new territories with lacklustre shopping services,” said Dr Mohammed Al Qahtani, deputy CEO of Al Meera.

“Our state-of-the-art stores are designed to provide citizens and residents in five key suburbs – out of the 14 announced last year – that are witnessing a population boom with unmatched shopping convenience, a vast range of competitively priced, high quality products and best-in-class services and facilities,” he added.
