Austrian firm inks deal for Abu Dhabi oil exploration

Austrian oil and gas group OMV and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Co have signed a joint exploration deal for the onshore region in East Abu Dhabi, OMV said on Monday.

"With this step OMV is on the way to foster its upstream position in the Middle East," OMV Chief Executive Gerhard Roiss said in a statement announcing the four-year agreement.
