This stunning Ferrari F430 Spyder can be yours for AED5,000 ($1361) a day

Forget the global economic woes, luxury car sales are soaring in the wealthy Gulf.

From Rolls Royce to Audi, to British marque Bentley, top-end car makers are notching up record sales thanks to the region’s high-spending petrolheads.

But for those of us that can’t afford a brand-new Lamborghini – and that is most of us – there’s always the option to rent one. Arabian Business has ranked the cost of taking possession of a flashy new set of wheels in Dubai – albeit only for a day – and the price ranges from AED750 ($204) a day for a BMW 5 Series, to ten times that for the most exclusive models.

Take a luxury motor for a week, and you can expect a 10 percent discount on your daily fee.

Click here to check out the daily costs of renting some of the glitziest cars in Dubai.
