Depa Limited, the Dubai-based interior design company that fitted out the Burj Khalifa, has announced a project award of more than AED130 million ($35.3 million).

It said its European-based unit, Vedder, has secured an interior fit-out package for a privately owned superyacht.

Vedder is Depa’s European business specialising in the provision of interior solutions to the superyacht, private jet and high-net-worth residence fit-out markets.

The project will be one of the largest projects ever delivered by Vedder, Depa said in a statement.

Hamish Tyrwhitt, Depa’s group CEO, said: “Vedder is widely recognised as the world’s leading interior fit-out service provider for superyachts. Vedder’s reputation and longevity is a testament to the quality of its work.

"As a result, Vedder continues to secure major projects, such as this new superyacht project, from Europe’s leading shipyards. With the award of this project and a recent residential project in Florida, Vedder’s backlog stands at record levels.”

Last month, Depa Limited announced its listing on the London Stock Exchange has been cancelled.
