Buddha-Bar Beach, the entertainment concept by Paris-based hospitality brand Buddha Bar, is set to make its Middle East debut in Abu Dhabi later this year.
Located at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, the venue will be the first permanent one of its kind, different to the three existing ‘seasonal’ venues that appeared this summer in Baku and on Greek islands Santorini and Mykonos. It will combine a restaurant, bar and lounge and will also be the first Buddha Bar outlet in the UAE’s capital.
“We are really proud to bring Buddha-Bar Beach concept to Abu Dhabi. The new exotic concept will go beyond expectations, offering signature sounds and fabulous food in a stunning setting with world-class beach and pool facilities. It is an enticing proposition for sophisticated guests and residents who love fine dining, music, and modern design,” said Marwan Fadel, hotel manager of The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
The beach concept will be open from morning until late and will serve Asian cuisine that mixes Japanese, Thai and Mediterranean dishes. Buddha-Bar DJs and performers will provide musical soundtracks and nightly entertainment.
The brand currently has three outlets in the UAE, including Karma Kafe in Downtown Dubai and Siddhartha Lounge and Buddha-Bar in Dubai Marina. The Buddha-Bar concept was first launched in 1996 by late founder Raymond Visan in Paris, where it had attracted global celebrities and mega personas. It also has Buddha-Bar Hotels in Paris, Budapest and Prague.
