Barcelona-inspired tapas concept Toro & Ko will open in Dubai’s City Walk in early September.
The New York-based venue by award-winning chefs Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette aims to bring "the soul and spirit" of the Spanish city to Dubai by way of Manhattan.
“We are counting down the days until the opening of Toro & Ko Dubai. This is our first concept in the Middle East, and we couldn't be more excited to bring the passion behind the Toro name to a city that both of us feel so connected to,” Bissonnette said.
The Dubai outlet will be the brand’s fourth around the world, with other branches present in major cities Manhattan, Boston and Bangkok.
Co-owner Oringer said Dubai is a city the chefs admire for its “deep-rooted culture and culinary landscape,” adding they intend to highlight the local flavours and ingredients through the menu.
Toro & Ko is set to feature a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere with a carefully curated Barcelona-inspired menu designed to share.
