A classic Omani dhow, “Dhahab,” has been restored into a luxurious sailing boat capable of cruising at a comfortable 10 knots.

The 90-foot boat, developed by renowned resort Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman, accommodates up to six guests in three cabins; one king and two twins.

The dhow, aimed at attracting both families and groups of friends, has a central air-conditioned saloon, two sun decks, multiple dining areas and a large open galley.

Six Senses Zighy Bay offers a three day and two night itinerary, priced at $22,000 (AED80,803), aboard the boat, which cruises up the coast of Musandam past remote fishing villages, secluded bays bursting with marine life and private bays surrounded by mountains.

The vessel is equipped with kayaks, fishing and diving equipment, on-board cinema, butler service and a chef to prepare all meals in an open central galley as well as a speedboat for additional exploration.

Time aboard can be spent kayaking, fishing, beach combing, swimming or relaxing. There are options for cooking classes with the chef, diving or even having a spa treatment.
