Dubai is set for further international TV exposure as Heidi Klum, the supermodel host of TV show ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ arrives in the emirate this weekend to film segments for the latest series of the TV talent-search.
“It’s one of the highest-rated television programmes in Europe with about seven million viewers. I’ve been working with the producers for the last couple of months and it’s very exciting to bring them here,” Simon Lock, the CEO of Lock Group and creative director of Dubai Fashion Week, was quoted as saying by Gulf News’ Tabloid section.
“We are also filming at the Meydan race course and also at Bab Al Shams and Atlantis, The Palm,” Lock added.
Klum, who is also a co-producer on the show, is expected to take part in a fashion show at Nasimi Beach by Dubai-based Filipino designer Furne One, who has also appeared on previous episodes of the TV show.
