Dubai's RTA to add landmarks to number plates

Drivers will soon be able to adorn number plates with likes of Burj Al-Arab, Burj Khalifa

Such number plates were standard before 2005 in Dubai, especially with an image of the Burj Al Arab. It was disappointing when they were replaced with the new style of plate, but this is definitely not a 'first of its kind' initiative.
