About the awards

This year, the Arabian Business Achievement Awards were in their ninth year, as the most prestigious regional business awards on the calendar. Previous winners have included HRH Prince Alwaleed, King Mohammed VI of Morocco, and King Abdullah of Jordan.

Each year, the awards celebrate the very best in business achievement, both on a corporate and individual level.

This year the awards were held on December 14th at Atlantis. HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum won a special Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to global business over the past two decades. The Emirates Airline boss was one of 18 winners to be recognized, at a glittering evening.
