COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Saudi Cement Company (SCC) is a Saudi Joint Stock Company established in 1955. The principal object of the company is to produce cement, cement products and invest in cement related fields.SCC operates two cement plants in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The two plants namely Hofuf plant and Ain Dar plant, are about 35 km apart and are both at an approximately equal distance of around 120-130 km from King Abdul Aziz Port at Dammam.
SCC started operation in 1961 where one kiln of 300 tons of clinker per day was inaugurated at the Hofuf plant.
