COMPANY DESCRIPTION
National Industries Group Holding was established in 1960 under the name of National Industries Company (NIC) by virtue of the Commercial Companies Law in the State of Kuwait with 51% of shares owned by Kuwait Government and 49% owned by the private sector. In April, 2003, it became National Industries Group Holding.The group's strategy allowed the company to diversify from its traditional roots as a building materials company into direct investments in promising economic sectors in general and industrial sectors in particular, on both regional and international levels, including oil, gas, petrochemicals, heavy industries, infrastructure and privatization programs in power generation and public utilities, in addition to the management of financial portfolios.
