Al Safat Energy Holding Company was established in 1983 as a Kuwaiti closed shareholding company and has been listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange since 1987 under the name Kuwait Computer Company (Hasibat) with an initial capital of USD 18.75 million. However, in March 2004, Kuwait Computer Company (Hasibat) was restructured and the name changed to Hasibat Holding Company (HHC) with the same capital of Hasibat, USD 18.75 million.Al Safat Energy Holding Company was formed with the aim to be a regional diversified holding company and strategic investor in services that focuses on information technologies for various industries.
