COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Headquartered in Doha, Ezdan Real Estate Company is a listed Qatari company which is engaged in real estate ownership, development, investment and trade activities.In February last year, the company made its debut on the Doha Securities Market. Since then the firm has increased its foreign ownership from 25 percent to 49 percent.
At the end of last month the company said it was mulling a merger with the Group of International Housing Company. The property company said it was conducting a feasibility study into the deal which would then by discussed by the board.
Ezdan (formerly Iskan Real Estate Company) has two wholly-owned subsidiaries, Ezdan Hotel and Suites and Ezdan Trading and Contracting Company.
