COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Qatar Real Estate Investment Company, also known as Alaqaria, is a Qatari public shareholding company (QSC), with diversified activities in the real estate sector in the State of Qatar.The Company was one of the first to be listed on the Doha Securities Exchange (DSM) when the exchange was inaugurated in 1997. Alaqaria is capitalised at QAR 7.20 million comprising 70,000,000 shares with a face value of QAR 10 per share. The government of Qatar holds a stake of approximately 27% in the company.
