COMPANY DESCRIPTION
FCI undertook a major expansion project starting 1998 to increase its annual cement production capacity to 1.2 million tonnes and to add state of art pollution control equipment to make the industry more environmental friendly.The project was completed by March 1999.
Facilities are established in the plant to produce various types of cement like Ordinary Portland cement, Sulphate Resisting Cement, Moderate Sulphate Resisting Cement, Oil Well Cement as per the certificate number 10A-0072, and Blast Furnace Slag Cement.
Over the last few years Fujairah Cement has been continuously moving forward to upgrade its technology. At present, steps are being taken to incorporate the latest quality control and cost saving equipments along with other world technology in the field of cement manufacturing, as far as possible.
