Former Pakistan leader touts $1,000 ‘dinner dates’

Dubai-based General Pervez Musharraf also offering punters handshake and photograph for US$250

We must appreciate such kind of approach, rather than, looting money or make with corruption, its good idea to generate money from such kind of events. Even a poor but talented person now can think to participate in election by generating donations from friends and community. (I am not a voter for Musharaf but I do appreciate his vision and worked for Pakistan economy during his regime).
I still remember that AED was at PKR 16/- through out his tenure.

Khan

He is now like a used toilet paper which has no use what so ever.

Not for a $1000 - but for the right price - Clinton, Blair, Bush they ALL can be bought, so whats is the fuss about? I guess Musharraf just undersold himself - just like he did Pakistan.

durranee

I think he should start spending a chunk of what he's taking from Pakistan first and then ask other people to donate.
P.S. Not sure if a date with an ex dictator would be on my diary very soon.

Saqib

250$ for a handshake !!! I am sure, he is not Angelina Jolie...

max

you dont need to pay. Musharaf will pay you since he is alone now.

Politicians can not stop their spins ways just like the cheeta can not change its spots. A snake will always be a snake.
