The inauguration ceremony of the new plant in Bahrain was held in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, H.E. Zayed R. Mondelez opened its second factory in Bahrain, the US $90 Million Dollar Mondelez Bahrain Biscuits factory is located at the Bahrain International Investment Park.

The plant, with an annual capacity of 90,000 tonnes, is located on a 250,000sqm plot – the equivalent of 30 football pitches.

Mondelez Bahrain Biscuits factory peak production will require employment of more than 300 people, in addition to indirect employment to thousands with jobs in the local economy through suppliers and business partners.
