Gold iPhone 5s sold out in one day

Apple is reportedly increasing their Gold iPhone 5s production to counteract the staggering demand for the newly introduced colour, retailers said.

Less than 24 hours after going on sale, the new gold version of the headset disappeared off shelves and online.

Apple’s new iPhone 5c, however, is still in stock, while orders for the space gray and silver iPhone 5s will be shipped by mid-October and the gold iPhone 5s is scheduled for arrival in November.

Apple is no stranger to high demand. Some analysts estimate that the company will sell five to six million in the first week of release, while others are predicting even higher quantities.

It’s a good thing that the GCC offers up an array of gold iPhone case- both real and faux- for those who are not willing to wait in line to get their hands on Apple’s new gold production batch.

ANDROID may be the competition but it certainly represents the mindset of the Apple fanboys/girls out there that chew up whatever Apple spits out, without scrutiny. Heaps of perfectly good iphones sitting in landfills because they need the latest.
