Appreciation!
Posted by Karm H AL-Hashmi at 15:25 UAE time
As an Arab Muslim, I highly appreciate the move which has been taken by His majesty king Abdulla Bin Abdull Aziz inot only in appointing a female as an Deputy minister for girls students, but also in other different vital positions which are very essential in the life of the Saudi Nation as well as for expatriates.
Hence, I congratulate the Saudi Nation for such developments which will enable other means of further progress in the welfare of all people presently and in the future.

good for her! but she'll still have to be driven to work. - when, oh when, is the change going to come that will affect almost ALL women in the kingdom, to move from the back seat of their own car.

WOMEN VICTORY IN HISTORY IS CREATED
Posted by Peter at 19:36 UAE time
Yes it is a sigh of releif for all Saudi women and girls over men's domination for over 600 years. It is a proud moment for all it's citizens and a change of heart towards women on 14th of February. The king should do more and create equal rights for men and women.Business and progress of Saudi will then go beyond the recession or depressions.Yes the world is a happy place with this changes.
