ARE WE TRAVELLING ON SAFE AIRLINES
Posted by CYRIL INNOCENSIO, ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES on Sunday 16 September 2007 at 13:00 UAE time

I am wondering if you could take on the issue of safety of travelling on all the Middle Eastern airlines, since I read that most of these airlines are purchasing new aircraft but I feel it is a question of purchasing a new product without being able to maintain/service the product qualitatively. I hear a lot of new aircraft are being grounded on a daily basis, which means we are travelling on aircraft that are unsafe.

Your post is well thought-out and written very well. I have worked in Dubai & Doha and it is such a pleasure to read the pupose and intent of Ramadan as you explained but more often than not, it never works the way you have explained and therefore the quality of work more often suffers.
In any case, if more people read your post and adhere to the 'ideal' of Ramadan, then this world will be a better place.
Ramadan Kareem to you.
Liz
