Abu Dhabi 2030 plan
Posted by Ferose Gazi, London, Uk on Monday 28 September 2009 at 22:36 UAE time
Abu Dhabi 2030 plan is achievable and I would like congratulate to every one who’s are part of this development process. Also, if I may - we all have to work together to share our expertise with the same goal plan. We mustn’t bring any negative to make constraint to this development of our future generation.
During the course of this development process , all the building construction company, supply of resources countries and manufacturing company will be benefited from this works. Also, this will give the opportunity to all stake holders to understand UAE people and there culture for future purpose.
I have been to few Expo and meetings to explore my way of engaging myself to carry out business there. But, unfortunately I had to come back to Heathrow development project. But, if I get the opportunity again then I would love to be part of this hole process.
Thank you
Regards

I would be very much interested to know when the area will be developed and all services such as roads, electricity, water as well as infrastructure are in place and when we will see houses and towers show up? Thanks

It is clear that UAE has its "golden age", like other civilizations had before, thanks to the Petrodollars. I was impressed by the 2030 plan, and how wise the Petrodollars are getting used. I also hope that some local Arab culture will be visible in the designs of the buildings and malls, it should not become a copy of other big cities. Some questions I have are related to "international laws and mix of culture", as Abu Dhabi has to attract different nationalities (to reach 3M residents), so this will have an impact on culture and laws. Other question has more to do with fundamental issues in this world, and that is shortage of oil in the near future, the impact on food prices, energy costs, etc.. Getting tourists is nice, but what if flying becomes too expensive in 20 years because of fuel prices, etc.. All in all, I am impressed, and it brought me to buy an apartment on Al Reem Island!
