Prasad began his financial career as corporate banker with HSBC in 2000, working with wealthy private clients in the UAE, Oman and the subcontinent. He was headhunted by Barclays Bank to take the responsibility of developing South Asian business in the Middle East and east Africa. He joined Barclays Wealth as Director and Head of South Asian Business in Jan 2004, playing a key role in establishing Barclays in the region, before taking on a position as executive director at Morgan Stanley. He is now CEO and managing director of Signature Capital PTE, which now has over $1bn worth of assets under management.
