The 22nd season of the world’s favourite cultural festival, Global Village, will kick-off in Dubai in two weeks with a host of new retail attractions, back-to-back concerts and performances from stars from around the world.
The years concert program has not yet been revealed, but last year’s star-studded line-up included Palestinian pop idol Mohammed Assaf and Algerian legend Cheb Khalid.
Last year’s festival smashed attendance records with a total of 5.6 million guests during the season.
As one of the foremost tourist attractions in the city, the cultural extravaganza offers 30 pavilions representing more than 75 countries and runs until April 7, 2018.
