ITP scoops Sheikh Majid Bin Mohamed Youth Media Award

Award panel selects ITP for excellence in reporting with Arabian Business magazine

Dubai's ITP Publishing Group has won the Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Youth Media Award in its sixth year, with CEO Walid Akawi collecting the award.

Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, attended the event and handed awards to winners in a ceremony held at Dubai World Trade Centre on Monday.

ITP, the largest publishing house in the region with 75 print titles and 25 websites, was awarded the 'Excellence in Media' prize.

The award panel selected ITP for its excellence in reporting, including flagship title Arabian Business, which is famed for annual lists such Power 500 and Rich List.

Arabian Business, along with other ITP publications and websites, has been a rich source of news in the region and beyond, with hundreds of thousands reading its websites daily.

With its sixth edition, the Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Youth Media Award has helped to encourage and nurture future media generations.
