Jacobs wins multiple deals

Jacobs Engineering has picked up two new contracts and a task order.

The first is to provide design and engineering services to the European Commission for a thermonuclear experimental reactor facility to be built in France at an estimated cost of US $5.33 billion (EUR4.26 billion).

Work on the facility will begin in 2007, with an estimated completion date of 2015.

The second contract, from the US’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS), is to provide architectural, engineering and other services to the IRS Real Estate and Facilities Management division.

The task order is under an existing contract to provide engineering and scientific support to the Marine Corps Network and Infrastructure Services.
