Jamiroquai to play Dubai's Sandance in November

British acid jazz band Jamiroquai are one of the main acts set announced to play the Sandance music festival at the Atlantis hotel on Palm Jumeirah in November, organisers have announced.

Fronted by Manchester-born Jay Kay, the Grammy Award-winning act has sold over 30 million albums and are most famous for their 1997 hit “Virtual Insanity”.

Having previously performed in Abu Dhabi as part of the Formula 1 Grand Prix after party concerts in 2009, the Sandance festival on November 15 will mark their first performance in Dubai.

Also included on the bill are Chic, featuring Nile Rodgers, whose disco hits include “Le Freak” and “I Want Your Love”.
