Project Manager - Horticulture required with my client in the UAE, a large wildlife park and resort. This role will play a pivotal role in the development of sustainable horticulture in the UAE and you will be responsible for establishing the organization as an internationally recognized botanic garden collection and display landscape. You will also be responsible for coordinating and leading a plant introduction and trials program and will coordinate a program of international plant collecting and importation, whilst ensuring safe and efficient working conditions and developing annual project budgets.The successful candidate must have a BSc or MSc in a relevant horticultural discipline andor a diploma or post graduate qualification from a botanic garden school of Horticulture. You will have 5 - 10 years leadership experience in plant selection with a commercial nursery or botanic garden as well as extensive practical experience in breeding andor selecting ornamentals required ideally with tropical andor land species. Fluency in English is essential.
