Our client, a renowned global manufacturer , is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their UAE offices. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager and part of the UAE management team, you will be responsible for the accounts and finance function for the company's UAE operations. Your key responsibilities will include

Overseeing the accounts and books of the company including audits
Responsibility for internal and financial controls in accordance with company policies and UAE legislation
Ensuring accurate and timely recording and documentation of accounting and financialtransactions
Establishing and managing formal monthly closing and Forecasts
Reviewing and approving expenses, payroll calculation, cash withdrawals and transfers
Managing treasuring activities in accordance with Group policy and instructions of GroupTreasury
Ensuring accounting and Treasury policies and guidelines are fully implemented and complied with
Maintaining transfer pricing policy and documentations for trade related intercompany transactions
Conducting on-going analysis of company's financial performance
Preparing monthly management reports to UAE office and regional office
Conducting product costing and control of inventory
Participating in the company and group level planning, forecasting and budgeting
Overseeing Payroll function establishing procedures, checking accuracy and ensuring timely processing
Interacting with UAE management team and regional management team and participating in management meetings and business reviews
Managing, developing, coaching and conducting performance reviews of subordinates.The successful candidate will hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant subject as well as have 10-15 years experience in finance, preferably within a multinational or international environment. A background in manufacturing, costing and experience in audit as well as a minimum of 5 years at managerial level and proven abilities in financial control and business control is also required for this role. You must have good knowledge of IFRS specifications as well as being knowledgeable in IT including ERP systems, MS office applications with high skills in Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and strong analytical skills and business acumen are prerequisite, and you should also possess good organizational skills, be confident, assertive, structured in your approach and proactive in order to play an active part in the company's development and business strategy.
