Our client, a government organization based in Al Ain is currently looking for a qualifiedGuest Services Food Service Section Headto be part of their team.
Duties will include but not limited to
Responsibilities Management oversight of the day to day functions associated with the Food Service Restaurant and Concession Operations, Vending and Catering at AWPR
Assists with strategic departmental long range planning and annual budgeting for area
Ensures departmental areas are operated at the highest level of safety, quality and service, while maintaining strong fiscal responsibility
Develops and monitors consistent oversight of area guidelines and procedures
Maintains the highest level of Food Service safety protocols and standards in the industry
Assists in the development and constantly evaluates all products and pricing structures to offer our guests the best product solutions
Conducts departmental training sessions as needed, assuring that each employee is properly and thoroughly trained for their position
Ensures interdepartmental teamwork to accomplish park and divisional Vision and Mission Goals
Addresses all guest comments and takes appropriate steps for resolution
Manages systems to prevent loss or receipts and products
Approves all staffing schedules and ensures labor budget guidelines are met
Ensures that all Financial reports and measurement tools are being used to actively monitor income and expenses
Maintains all locations and areas in a clean, attractive, and highly marketable condition
Ensures the stocking and constant readiness of product for all Food Service areas
Fulfills park operations Manager on Duty assignments as required
Supervises and supports a team of managers, supervisors and front line guest service staff
Demonstrates leadership of employees through ongoing training to include applicable laws, guidelines, business conduct and ethics and the provision of quality services to guests and employees supporting the highest level of program integrity.Qualification
Bachelors degree in business administration or experience in related field is preferred
5 to 9 years experience in a multi unit food service environment, with at least 3 years in an food service management position, in the entertainment industry, such as theme park or amusement park
Possess skills to operate basic office equipment
Computer knowledge in windows programs
Valid driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record to maintain standards of insurability
Knowledge of profitloss statements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
