Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability of facility operates before the completion of projects
- Continuously check on hard services such as maintenance issues, and soft services such as ensuring that facilities are cleaned properly and regularly or monitoring the performance of contractors
- Assist in managing facilities using extensive managerial tools such as property strategy, communications infrastructure, contract management, water management, power management, etc.
- Coordinate with the IT Section when operating any kind of support of administrative facility management through information technology, usually identifies as Computer Aided Management (CAFM) and liaise with the IT Section to perform checks on sensors, actuators, control elements and other technical devices in the buildings and to ensure that they are interconnected in a network
- Ensure proper placement and functioning of all safety and security measures and requirements
- Aid in the preparation of capacity plans and space programs for facilities, coordination of space planning and tracking, and management of new hire space accommodations
- Prepare contracts for specialized facilities maintenance work
Prepare a variety of technical facilities engineering reports and analysis for presentation to management
- Perform engineering project management and other related engineering analysis to ensure the development of predictive and preventive maintenance programs
- Perform water and power management checks and prepare and maintain check sheets and reviews
- Ensure that landscaping, internal roads and horticulture related issues are attended to actively to maintain the concerned facility up to the relevant standards
- Maintain an up to date computerized process control system, maintenance management system and recommend changes needed
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in English and Arabic Languages
- Work knowledge of Computer Aided Facility Management, Security Systems and Maintenance Management (Hard and Soft Services)
